Phoron, King Baron was one of the early enemies of the unofficial Fireteam Argus. Having followed Shadow-55-77 to Europa, it is presumed he arrived on the moon shortly after Arxus Essal. Under the cover of a snowstorm, Phoron located and assassinated Shadow while the latter was separated from the other Guardians. Searching for their lost companion, the Guardians stumbled across the Baron scavenging Shadow's corpse. He then engaged the remaining Guardians in combat. Due to the betrayal of Stalker, a bounty hunter hired by Arxus Essal, Phoron managed to shoot the distracted Orkrim Katesh's leg off. In retaliation, the Baron was killed by Arxus' Fist of Havoc. A prosthetic leg for Orkrim was then built by Saturn, using the remains of Phoron's Shrapnel Launcher.
